Overview
RCR-3342 is developed based on 13.56 MHz Contactless (RFID) Technology , is a dual interface reader that can access any contact and contactless smart cards . It can be used as a contactless card reader and can collect data from TAG (contactless card chip or other device with TAG) . For example, if your phone has NFC capabilities, you can use your phone to access a bus card and read the transaction information (Swipe Records) on the card.
Small size specification design not only stable and reliable performance, and operation can make the device more perfect embedded in the device. Products are widely used in advertising media, access control management system, information query, consumer systems, conference check-in and other applications.

How to use and points to note
Use/install methods:
1 one end of the data line is connected to the corresponding interface of the computer, and the other end is connected to the communication port of the card reader
2 when the reader indicator light is“Red” to indicate that the reader into the state of waiting for the card.
Precautions and simple troubleshooting:
1:If the data connection is directly inserted into the charging plug, the card reading will not be successful.
2:There are many factors that affect the card reading distance. Because of different protocols, different antenna design, surrounding environment (mainly metal, metal) and different cards, the actual card reading distance will be affected.
3:If the reading distance of the card reader is too long, it will cause the reading card to be unstable or fail, and avoid reading the card in the critical state (just enough distance to read the card) .
4:At the same time too close to the two card readers will also interfere with each other. The way to read the card, it is recommended that the card is facing the card reader close to the natural, with the card from the side of the card quickly across the reading method is not advisable, not to ensure the success of the card. When swiping the card, it is recommended not to operate the mouse to avoid transmission of data errors.
5:The length of the communication cable between the reader and the computer should be less than 15 meters. Swipe card no response: whether the interface is inserted; RF card is the corresponding RFID card type; RF card is bad; whether another RF card in the reading range.
6:Data transfer errors: whether the mouse was used when the card was swiped; whether the card was read in a strong electromagnetic field; whether the communication cable between the card reader and the computer was too long; and whether the card was read in a critical state.
