Relative Knowledge:

A magnetic card is a card that uses a magnetic carrier to record information for identification or other purposes. Depending on the substrate used, magnetic card can be divided into PET card, PVC card and paper card three; depending on the magnetic layer structure, can be divided into magnetic stripe card and full-coated magnetic card two. The magnetic card is convenient to use, cheap to make, widely used, can be used to make credit cards, bank cards, passbooks, Metro cards, bus cards, ticket cards, telephone cards; Video game cards, tickets, air tickets and various transportation fee cards.

Daily maintenance:

1. Clean the magnetic head before daily work or when there are many read and write errors, follow the following steps to clean the magnetic head:

A: dry cleaning card felt surface close to the magnetic head in the guide slot across 5 ~ 10 times.

B: if you think the magnetic head is dirty, you can first wet the felt surface of the cleaning card with cleaning fluid or alcohol, let the felt surface close to the magnetic head in the guide slot several times, and then use the dry cleaning card in the guide slot several times.

2, Clean encoder roller

A: with a cleaning fluid or alcohol soaked cleaning card, felt close to the roller in the guide groove across, generally 10 times.

B: use a dry cleaning card and swipe 2-3 times.

3. Clean the slot

A: wrap a sandcloth around the cleaning card and place it on the edge of the slot.

B: put the card into the slot until it reaches the edge of the head, move it on both sides of the head and clean it, but don't go to the head.

C: be careful not to leave fibers in the slot or on the head after cleaning.
